Dottie had a tough start in life. She was given to me by a family who did not love her. She was 18 weeks old when I got her and she was miss treated. It took her a little while to warm up to me and my two kids at home. But once she did she showed us who she really was. Dottie loved everyone. She loved to play, run and would do any trick in the book to get a treat. Dottie was always into something weather it be the kids toys or food left out where she could get to it, she was always into everything. You could never get upset with her once you looked into those eyes of hers. She always wanted to be next to you and she always wanted to be loved on. My kids loved her dearly and Dottie loved them right back. Dottie was the very first dog I had ever had with me and my kids. She will never be forgotten.

Dottie you are missed by so many people. I miss you on my couch downstairs, I always felt so safe with you there. And I miss you being a "spaz". You will always have a place in my heart and in so many others hearts. I love you Dottie, and I hope you get all the treats you want up there in doggy heaven.

Dotti, You and I had some rough times, right? I mean your hair was always all over me.....but now all I can think about is how I wish I could see it all over me again.....that would mean you and I would be hanging out, and that your mom and I were cool again.....I will always remember you, and miss your funny smiles....what other dog could roll round like you for those treats. Glad I was able to know you, you are missed.....

Dottie loved being around when we were baking cookies. One September, we took Dottie & 5 other dogs thru the woods & to the swimming hole. She loved fetching sticks & competing w/ the other dogs. Dottie amazed us with her tricks--our dogs tried, but were never as graceful as Dottie. She will be missed...but, Dottie is in a peaceful place where she is comfortable &sleeping soundly. Dottie knew she was loved, so she too has a wealth of fond memories to carry her through her next journey.
