She was my special girl from the word go! She was a problem child and was difficult to handle even as a 9 weeks old pup! But I loved her no matter what...She sent me on a journey of discovery, learning more about dog behaviour and training than I ever imagined...We also learned to" mush" together to do what she was naturally engineered to do as a Malamute. We thouroughly enjoyed running at full speed in the woods together with nature. Then the cancer journey we embarked on 6 months ago sent me on another learning curve about osteosarcoma. She had just turned five years old in september...I was really hopeful we could beat this dreaded disease...She was so brave, right until the end...I miss her so much, my heart aches....mushing without her will never be the same...Run free my angel, I will catch up with you some day...

Personal Notes

To our darling Chilly - we all miss you very much. I still see how your beautiful eyes looked at me that last Sunday before you had to leave us; the last day I saw you. Pretty girl; so wise; so precious. Look after Garry, Freebie and Bonnie and go for lots of walks - maybe Garry can take you mushing! We love you Chilly Girl.

Chilly, what a loved dog you are. Run free with the wind in your face. I never met you but your mum made me feel as if I had the honour of knowing you, beautiful girl. My Shanti is now running free with you, maybe you have already had a game in the Meadows. Until we meet......
