Koa (aka "Kobee") was a very special boy that touched a lot of peoples' lives. He was very sensitive to others' feelings and had a knack for cheering people up. He was the most laid back dog I have ever known... unless there was a bicyclest or a gardener in the area... then look out! We have so many wonderful memories of Kobee... the time Kris thought she knocked him out with the push lawnmower... or when we came home to find Koa with a pink ruffle around his neck - only to find out that he dragged Kris' underwear into the yard (again) and that was his new neck ruffle!... the time Kobes jumped overboard when we took him fishing (good thing we had him on a harness leash)... Koa chasing the mechanical bat we had attached to our ceiling during a Halloween party... the time Kobes was trying to protect my apartment in Phoenix and he jumped at the screen window and it fell out and so did he (thank goodness it was a one story)... the time Steve was watching Kobee and he thought he lost him - little did he know that Kobee was relaxing on the black pappasan chair while Steve spent forever looking around their complex and worrying (Kobee didn't have his gray beard yet and blended right in with the chair!). There are so many more stories to share! Koa really was one of a kind and will always have a special place in our hearts!
