Dixie was a very special member of our family.  She was unique in many different ways.  We often referred to her as the "Pretty One".  She was very expressive (LOUD) and very active (ANNOYING).  She was also a little neurotic, but thankfully she had her "Blankie" that helped her through alot of those episodes.  She was a definite "Mommy's Girl" and loved to talk back to her Daddy.  She was very tolerant of her many canine and feline siblings over the years.  She would and could herd anything that came her way.  She was also very intelligent.  Sometimes a little too smart!  Dixie was one of the lucky ones.  She was healthy until the end and did not have to suffer.  She was able to go with the grace and dignity that she deserved and her family was by her side.  Peace be with you our sweet girl.  You may rest now.  You are forever in our hearts.  We will always love and miss you.
