My Damian died today, aged 19yr 11mths. He is now meeting up with his younger brother Azrael, who died back in 2019 at 16yr old.



Damian attuned to me in a way no other animal (or human for that matter) did or could try to. Even moreso than his brother(who he was very cat-close with) who was just a floofy love bug to any and all. Damian though, he was by my side near 24/7. We had our own way of communicating, and I hope he knows I gave him(and Azrael) the best of everything I could.



We don't know where they go. We don't know how they get there. We do know for a moment in time they were one of the greatest parts of our lives. 



Damian my old friend, thank you for so many awesome years. As with Azrael I will never forget you. Go forth now, and meet up with your brother, you've more than earned it. Tell him all about leaving MD behind and us coming back home to start anew. And keep your ears open and your nose perked because someday I will make my way back to you both.
