My family and I got Poo when she was only 6 weeks old. She was so small I could fit her in one hand.A far cry from her 65 pounds full grown. She was adorable and she quickly became part of the family! She was a gift from God. She was smart, funny, sweet, loving and of course spoiled rotten. She always made me laugh with her antics. Poo was very strong and strong willed. She knew exactly what she wanted and wouldnt settle for less. She always bounced right back from illness and injuries. She always surpised us and her vet with her resilience. She beat the odds so many times. She was always active even up till her last days. She loved going to the park, she would threw a fit like a child when she wanted to go for a walk. She had a lot of stamina she would give squirells quite a chase. At times she could be quite a brat but none the less she was very loved. At night she would make rounds though the house to check on every one in her "pack". She was protecitve of her family. She was esp good with the granchildren. She loved to eat, her favorite was homemade Cheeseburgers. She would beg for treats from the fridge and she knew exactly what she wanted. If you offered her something other then what the treat of choice she would turn her head away from it this would go on till she got what she wanted. Like I said she was very spoiled. She lived a long happy life. She passed peacefully at the age of 14 none the less we were still not ready to say goodbye. It broke my heart to lose her and looking back on it now it seems 14 years pass in a blink of a eye. I used to jokely say that the day Poo passed the sun wouldnt shine. Ironically the day of her passing it was over cast and raining all day. The weather fit our mood. I do take comfort in knowing she is with her "Grandpa" and he will take care of her unitl we can be together agian. She is very missed!
