We had to have our doberman put down and my mother vowed she was not going to leave our home till we had another dog. She had a dalmation of her own and said she thought we should have one as well. We found an ad where someone had some dalmation puppies so we went to see them. There were 15 puppies in the litter. we were in heaven. We sat down on the floor and they all came to greet us. But one particular one kept coming back to us and showering us with kisses. So he was the one we took home. He had black circles around his eyes so I came up with the name Bandit. Later, we discovered, he would love to give kisses so we nicknamed him The Kissing Bandit. He was a very well behaved dog. He never ever chewed on anything, never jumped up on the counters to explore. He would growl and bark sounding so vicious if a stranger came up but as soon as they walked up to him he began licking them to death. He never snapped or bit anyone. No one could have asked for a better family member as Bandit. He will be missed tremendously. He may be physically gone from our lives but he will live on forever in our hearts. I love you Bandit!!
