My little Chelsea could fit in a shoe when she came home from the pet shop 16 1/2 years ago. She became a precious family member almost immediately & brought joy & laughter to our family from day 1. Chelsea knew how to bring me her leash from the closet when she wanted to go out, she would bring me her bowl when she wanted water & could even say "I love you" clearly enough to be understood! She knew many tricks like finding the money we'd hide no matter how well we hide it. She chased & caught bubbles & wouldn't quit until she caught everyone. She chased & fetched her ball & would bring it to me so proudly..All this until she developed memory loss, began biting & became viscious at times. The vet said she had a brain tumor & though most people couldn't understand why I kept her & tolerated her, I knew ...She was my best friend, my loving companion & protector..Her passing wasn' t easy for her, & for me. I know now that she isn't suffering anymore & that she's in heaven, whole again & running with her ball waiting for the day that I'll join her & walk with her again... Thank you Chelsea, for ALL you've given me. I love you & miss you terribly.Your friend Denver looks endlessly for you & misses you... My little angel.....
