My little Chelsea could fit in a shoe when she came home from the pet shop 16 1/2 years ago. She became a precious family member almost immediately & brought joy & laughter to our family from day 1. Chelsea knew how to bring me her leash from the closet when she wanted to go out, she would bring me her bowl when she wanted water & could even say "I love you" clearly enough to be understood! She knew many tricks like finding the money we'd hide no matter how well we hide it. She chased & caught bubbles & wouldn't quit until she caught everyone. She chased & fetched her ball & would bring it to me so proudly..All this until she developed memory loss, began biting & became viscious at times. The vet said she had a brain tumor & though most people couldn't understand why I kept her & tolerated her, I knew ...She was my best friend, my loving companion & protector..Her passing wasn' t easy for her, & for me. I know now that she isn't suffering anymore & that she's in heaven, whole again & running with her ball waiting for the day that I'll join her & walk with her again... Thank you Chelsea, for ALL you've given me. I love you & miss you terribly.Your friend Denver looks endlessly for you & misses you... My little angel.....

That was my Chelsea too.She loved xmas,&opened"everyone's"presents. She never left the bedside if you were sick, not even to go out. That is why we could never leave hers, as she grew mentally ill.Because I live so far away,I never got to say goodbye to her.I'll never forget the love shegave&hope she is in Heaven with my grandma, wagging her stubbytail, waiting for"us" to come home.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved Chelsea. I know the loss only too well, since as you know, I recently lost my precious Lab Wanda. Eventhough the pain of loss is never easy, I hope you continue to rejoice in the great joy and love Chelsea gave to you and your family. Her love for you was unconditional and that transends even the best of humanity.

My little Chelsea, 2 years later & I still miss you very much. I adopted 2 little pups from the aspca & that they aren't taking your place, they're helping me to fill the void of missing you. You will never be forgotten but these new babies do keep me busy & are very loving. I hope they will be as "smart" as you & be as much a part of our family as you were. I know you would have loved them too.We will see each other again someday. I love you & think of you all the time.
