My Beloved Nikki,

She was a beautiful silver schnauzer. She was diagnosed with diabetes in 2002 and then went blind shortly after. 

I have memories of her smelling the flowers that I planted.She loved to play freesbie, and loved to sing.

After she was diagnosed with her illness, she depended on me for everything. On the day that she passed away, and before we took her to the vet, she sang her last song.

My heart hurts so much, I know she is gone in body, but she will always be in my heart. She is buried outside my bedroom window with her teddy bear and a ceramic angel, so she will always be close to me.

I thank God for the 14 wonderful years that I had with her. She is in heaven now with my mother and grandmother, and not in any more pain.
