I only had my dalmation puppy, Molly, for 4 days, but I will never forget her. She was 45 days old when she passed away but it felt like she had been with us for a such a long time. At this moment, I canĀ“t accept that she is not with me now. We all loved her so much, but for myself, I am absolutely devastated at losing her. My daughter is 12 years old and has wanted a dalmation for as long as I can remember. Molly dying so quickly has broken her heart. She wanted to do so much with her when she got a bit older, taking her to the park etc. I took Molly in as she was being sold in a market but little did I know that she was already dying from parvovirus. It helps me knowing that she was much loved and was cared about a great deal for the last few days of her life. At the end, she just gave up and died in my arms. She would have had a great life if she had have survived, but the virus took such a hold over her. My son, aged 5, keeps asking where she has gone. It was the first time he had loved a dog. We also have 5 cats, whom I got off the streets here, who are still looking for Molly around the house. Molly will be sadly missed.
