Orlando was a wonderful, spirited and brave cat who enjoyed his pampered kittenhood, his life on the farm, as a wonderful ratter and general member of the family, and, following the amputation of his back leg, his even more pampered retirement (he thought he'd already died and gone to heaven!) both at home with Marie in Beckenham as well as in Rustington with Laurence, Marie, James, Jessica, Oliver and Harriet.

He had a love of the good life (especially of chicken breast and sprats!) and a huge fondness for people. He liked nothing more than curling up next to you and being stroked for hours, often patting you with his paw if he thought you weren't paying enough attention!! He also enjoyed getting involved in whatever his humans were doing, especially playing scrabble - his idea of the rules was plonking down in the middle of the board and sending the tiles flying everywhere! He also liked helping Laurence with his typing and was very fond of tapping on the keyboard. He was also very good company, sensing if you were sad and needed a friend. However, if someone else had food, you were soon history!

In his later life he was also very fond of listening to Basement Jaxx (or Basement Cats as he called them!) and particularly enjoyed Glastonbury this year! He adored lying in the sunshine, and is now buried in his favourite sunny spot at the bottom of the garden. He was truly loved, we will always remember him and he is sorely missed.

Orlando was a very fortunate boy to have such a loving family.
He has that face that just melts hearts.

God Bless and keep you until you can be reunited with your boy.
