Dibble was a very unique cat. He was a red long haired Persian. Last summer my mother took him to the vet and they found a lump on his heart, he wasn't eatting and when he did he threw up. I noticed about 3 weeks ago he was throwing up, I took him to the vet and they put him on meds and told me to bring him back in 2 weeks. During that time he would only eat out of my hard, so I would hand feed him every 2 hours or so. I noticed that he tried to be strong for me, he would purr when he saw me come into the room. On the 17th I noticed that his face was in his water bowl and I called his name and he opened his eyes very slow and looked up at me and I lost it. The vet told me to bring him in ASAP. When I got there she told me he lost more weight and if I had all the money in the world I only would be pro longing his life. So I had him put to sleep.
I have never had a pet that was so in tune with me. I had a little girl that was still birth and he would following me where ever I went, he would sit with me as I cryed missing her. He would lay in bed with me when I was sick. He loved to eat pop corn and chicken, he would beg like a dog would. Dibble was more than just my cat he was my bestfriend and I will never EVER find that again in another pet.

I'm so sorry for you loss. It's obvious how loved Dibble is. You made a heartwrenching decision, but it was best for him. My sweet German Shepherd Thor died alone at the vet and I never got to say goodbye, something for which I'll never forgive myself. There's never a good scenario for saying goodbye to our soulmates. It's hard in the meantime, but Dibble waits patiently for you at the Bridge and would not want you to be sad.

Dibble is absolutely gorgeous and it is obvious that you two were so close. I am so very sorry you lost your little baby and now your Dibble, too. There is an online pet loss support group where we talk about losing our pets and share caring support, sympathy and understanding. We would love for you to join us. Delphi requires you to register to join but it is free. It can be found at http://forums.delphiforums.com/poaa/start

Dibble,
It's almost been 1 month and I still find myself looking for you everyday. Your picture is on my desk top. I got your ashes back and like I always told you, your urn is right next to McKenzie's urn. I know right now your in heaven with her and you both are looking over me.

Dibble,
Today is one month that I am without you, a day doesn't go by that I don't think about you. I still think that your here, I look for you all the time and than realize that your gone. Your urn is next to McKenzie's urn like I always promised you that I would do. I love you Dibble!
Until we see eachother again...........

Dibble was so beautiful and so precious. I am so sorry of his loss and your babies losses. I know exactly how you feel jsut losing my precious Gunner on 9/12 after 11 1/2 years and a week prior to that losing my own child. I wake up feeling guilty everyday for putting Gunner to sleep but I know in my heart I did the right thing. I just hope he knows that and just how much we love and miss him dearly.
