Buffy was the bestest friend I could've ever asked for.  She was always happy and excited to see her family members.  She would play until she just got exhausted.  She would give me attention even when I knew she didn't feel well, or when she'd rather be taking a nap.  Buffy had a uniquely human personality.  She loved to garden with my mom during the week and sleep next to my dad on the couch on the weekends.  She liked to chase bugs across the patio at night too.  Buffy even helped me catch my first firefly, she knocked him into the grass for me.  Buffy let me put her in a swing and push her, and dress her up in a costume for a dog show.  But most of all, she gave her undying love and attention and never asked for a thing in return.  We love you Buffy and we miss you more than words can say.  Thanks for being the best friend in the whole world.  There's a hole in our hearts since you've left us, but I know we'll meet again, one day.
