Crunchie lived for just over two years. I'll say a little about her and then things she'd get up to. She was a syrian hamster with a golden brown warm rich colour. She also had a white horizontal stripe around her body.
She'd bitten no one it her life and was friendly to all humans. You could take her out of her cage and cup her into your hands. She'd just look at you; almost as if she was smiling. She prefered to be handled than run in her ball and slept alot. She was always healthy until the morning of the day that she passed away.
If you think of hamster and scream well Crunchie would made you change your mind. On the day that she died the vet who saw her was extremly nervous of her. But by the end he'd changed his mind and was starting to stroke her. When she had her cage on the floor, she'd escape but only to find extra food ( Including marbles and choclate santas) and then return to her cage. This shows how much she loved her life. She was female.

Here are some stories:

I was at a friend for the night but my mum told me:

It had just been christmas and my draw was loaded with sweets. She'd escaped and managed to get into my draw. The grabbing a tube of fruit pastilles in her teeth balancing on a book like tightrope experts do it by holding the pole. But she had it in her teeth. My mum found this out because she heard a crash at 1 am and went to investigate.

Here's another good story: ( my older brother had a hamster as well called gadget.) Crunchie had escaped we figured out while the delivery man had been her so she might of got out of the house. So at midnight my older brother investigated outside. He chased a rodent for about half an hour to discover it was a rat. At this time me and my mum where looking in the house. I left piles of food in each room. I checked them all after about 10 minutes to discover the pile in my older brother's room was going down. I heard scratching under his wardrobe. In turned out in all the mayhem Gadget had escaped and it was her under the wardrobe. Any way a buit after that we found having a nap in the corner of my room.

A third story ( choosing the best as you're only allowed so many characters!):

I'd had gym that day at school and me and my friend had swapped shirts by accident. So I'd come home dumped my PE kit into the bottom ready to watch TV and wait for Crunchie to wake up. So later I'd gone to bed after playing with her. I woke up the next morning to check on her and discovered she was missing. I found her straigh away in my wardrobe sleeping on a chewed up gym shirt with 2 massive holes through the middle of it. I've still got it now.

4th story: This was one af the first stories. She'd escaped ( cage door difficulties) and was having a good old run around. But Crunchie liked more than that. The cause a little mischief. So she'd some how climed up onto the bed where my mum was sleeping and started to run across her.My mum was good with hamsters and wasn't frightened of them but you can imagine anyone's reaction when you wake up at 2AM in the morning with something crawling across your arm!!
