Lacy was my constant companion, even before I got married. She jumped after kitties like a gazelle. I often made comments about how she had an eye lift before I did but I would not have it any other way. When she was a puppy she ate my favorite alligator pumps and even tried my Dad's dentures on for size, she never did that again. My husband asked me early in our relationship if she had her "licker license" because she could lick and lick and lick, it drove us crazy. She loved Grandma and Grandpa and her little brother Sammie 2, put up with Sandie Sunshine when Mommie and Daddie went on vacation but she loved Uncle Pete and Auntie Karen for taking care of her. She had stinky ass breath even after a teeth cleaning, brushing and doggie breath mints. She talked to Daddy "hap" was her favorite word. She could speak, sit, shake both paws, roll over, down and shake shake shake which was for after her bath. She didn't like it when Mommie vacuumed but when Daddy did it was no problem. Lacy loved to hear Daddie play his guitar and sing. SHe would come in and lay by his feet and just stare at him with that pretty brown eyes. When Daddy came home from work yesterday we both missed her joyous hello. No more "daddys home". She was a good girl and we will miss her very much.
