Comet Sand, 7 days old, passed away on December 31st from shock.
Comet will always be remembered by his unexpected arrival into Sand Family. It was Christmas Day of 2021, when Comet was gifted to Ashley Sand during a white elephant gift exchange on behalf of Stephanie & Bailey Page. Although unexpected, he was not loved any less. He was an avid traveler and his longest journey took him to his forever home in Francis Creek,WI. He enjoyed his new home, and lived his life to the fullest. He loved cat napping inside his bikini bottom home and spent his evenings watching Chicago Fire with Ashley. He was a professional swimmer, and was well known for swimming laps around his tank. He also enjoyed the little things in life like goldfish flakes and aquatic floral arrangements.
He is survived by his owner, Ashley Sand. His grandparents, Michael & Cheryl Sand. And his godparents, Ryan Sand and Bailey Page.
Burial to the sea has taken place, and a celebration of life is to be held at a later date.
Comet Sand’s family would like to extend a thank you to all those who have sent their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
