Max was discovered at an animal shelter located in Tallahassee, Florida. Max was one of three Black Lab mix pups. He was the most excited, hyper and rambunctious out of the bunch so his outgoing behavior won him a new home with his new best friend and Daddy, James.

The next few months as Max adjusted to his new home, he got a chance to meet his Mommy, Ikiah. Max should have been named Lucky...because his life was full of close calls.

As a pup, while Daddy was driving down a six lane highway, he decides to jump out of the passenger window. Though this was a very stupid move upon Max's part, he was smart enough to run to the middle median and patiently wait for James to turn the car around and save him.

Max got into everything, he got into needles, swallowed a tennis ball, tore his toenail off and ate a piece of his dog bone! Lucky!

He was the type of dog that begged at the dinner table, cuddled at your feet, wrestled a rope out your hand, and played fetch...but would never let go of the ball after retrieving it! He loved frisbee, the dog park and never got tired of chasing squirrels. He loved just staring out the window and barking at passersby. He was the best dog and we will love and cherish him always.

Personal Notes

Everyone who knew Max loved him. He was such a people pleaser! I only regret that Jaydon will never get the chance to get to know him like James & I did.
