Fritz was my beloved companion and protector.  Never taught to be a personal protection dog, he took it upon himself and did it well, not with aggression to all, only to those who may mean harm.  He was with us through my husband's open heart surgery and provided such comfort, but we could not protect him from the bone cancer that invaded his body.  Play hearty at Rainbow Bridge, my love - we will join you there soon.
