MEESHA

May 14th, 2004 - January 7th, 2021

“How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” ~ Winnie the Pooh

It is with very heavy hearts that we say goodbye to a very special and one of a kind feline. Meesha passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her human and feline family. She was a classy lady with a luxurious coat she loved to groom. She was beautiful both inside and out. She exuded charm, elegance and was the master of patience. Meesha was full of love, determination and had a fighting spirit until the very end. At just 5.5 years young, she fought a very aggressive form of cancer in her mouth. With the compassionate care of her Vet and her youthful and courageous spirit, she bounced back full of hope and a new lease on life. In her younger years, Meesha would spend most of her time in the backyard where she enjoyed listening to and watching birds. She also loved nothing more than to sit in the sun on a favourite chair beside flowers. Being out in nature was her favourite pastime. In her golden and more recent years, she could be found resting in her favourite spots around the house. Listening to classical music or watching some movies about birds and squirrels. Meesha had a zest for life and enjoyed many different cuisines throughout her life. Her favourites included: homemade chicken and tuna. Meesha was very gentle and loving, and she enjoyed calm quiet chats. Her eyes did all the listening and all the talking. She was an excellent listener and connecting with her soul was effortless. She was just so thankful to be a part of a family and she showered us daily with snuggles and kisses. She even made room in her heart and shared her home with her very special feline friend, Nancy. After 5 years of being the only cat, and even though the integration was extremely challenging, Meesha’s very gentle and kind heart graciously accepted Nancy in the end. And since then, the two have been each other’s trusted companion, shared a unique and special bond, and a source of comfort to one another. Nancy was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to say goodbye to Meesha after her passing. Meesha will be remembered for being full of heart, a strong fighter, and for being a wonderful teacher. She taught the most important lesson of all, and that is: true love never dies. So when God called her back home, at nearly 17 years of age, and because He needed another angel, we know that Meesha will live forever in our hearts, since she taught us that true love never dies. If love alone could have kept you here, you would have lived forever. Meesha, you gave us many joyful memories and you will forever remain in the heart of everyone you touched. Your life will be a story forever told. With eternal love, and grateful hearts, it is now your time to Rest In Peace, Meesha. The peace that you SO lovingly deserve. Run free without pain, sleep comfortably, enjoy all the food you deserve, be at peace always and watch over us. Walk beside us every day. Until we meet again, faithful and loyal companion. Thank you for loving us more than you loved yourself. Rest In Peace “Good Girl” and “the most beautiful lady”
