Our Loving Tigger loved to play outside, flip in the sand, chase birds, eat bugs and chew lizards. She loved pretty time, all the time, each and every time. She loved taking naps, stretching out in the sun. If she was mad, she would let it show, and when she was happy she was sure to let you know.

And God asked the feline spirit
Are you ready to come home?
Oh yes, quite so, replied the precious soul
And, as a cat, you know I am most able
To decide anything for myself.

Are you coming then? asked God.
Soon, replied the whiskered angel,
But I must come slowly
For my human friends are troubled.
For, you see, they need me, quite certainly.

But don't they understand, asked God
That you'll never leave them?
That your souls are intertwined for all eternity?
That nothing is created or destroyed?
It just is...forever and ever and ever.

Eventually they will understand,
Replied the glorious cat.
For I will whisper into their hearts
That I am always with them.
I just am...forever and ever and ever.

Personal Notes

To our beloved kittty Tigger. We are saddened by your passing Tig. You brought Dad and me so much joy and happiness. You had such a vigorously uplifting spirit. You knew when I was sad. You were dad's buddy all day. You were sent to us to love and cherish and that we did. We miss your cute antics and pretty time and that lump on our bed. You did your job well. Thanks Tig.

When we found you, we had no idea what a special cat you would become to our family. You were tiny and sick, and in much need of care. You are a testament that a little love is all any living thing needs. It was not long before you grew into a beautiful, healthy cat.Mom and dad gave you a second chance at life. They taught you to trust and to accept love. You flourished under their care. You became the most beautiful cat I have ever seen.We all miss you.
