Almost 12 years ago we walked into the animal shelter and made eye contact with this furry beautiful black lab pup just under 3 months old. That's all it took. An hour later we were driving home with our new family member. We called him Bruno. Little did we know how huge of a role he was going to play in the raising of my kids, protection of our home, comfort during sadness, giving unconditional love, and easing the struggles of life. We are better people because of Bruno being in our life. He helped our family through some rough times and we are forever grateful. Bruno was a smart friend always doing tricks for a treat of course. He loved playing hide and seek and when he was young he hid under our bed, but as he grew his head was the only part he could hide and always thought we couldn't see him when playing with him! He would always do these foward rolls when you play with him. Bruno loved his back scratched and after a while he would back into you to tell you what he wanted. He loved his rawhide bones so much that we had to spell bones when using the word cause he would get so excited! Believe it or not he learned to spell too. We would spell the word and he knew what we were saying. Those who met my 100 lb black fury family member absolutely adored him. Until we are together again its not goodbye, it's we will see you later.Thankyou for all you gave us, We love you always
