I couldn't wait to bring my new addition home, so I begged the breeder to allow me to take her at 5 1/2 weeks. We bonded immediately. She was a Siberian Husky and a beautiful one.  Petra could always sense when I was down and was there to comfort me. Once I had no power for a month and she kept me warm at night.  She loved to swim also and I'd take her for swims in the summer. All who knew me knew Petra and my love for her.  The day she passed I was scheduled for foot surgery that would have prevented me from checking on her.. Everything went wrong and after I'd been back home from the Dr.(w/o having the surgery), for a couple of hrs, she passed over. My heart is broken but I knew I would have to face this one day. She will forever been near to me.
