Chicky was my uncles dog. He bought her from an older lady which couldn't take care of her anymore. Chicky was 7 when she came to my grandma's house. Chicky was a lady in everything she did. She was the most precious poodle I ever met. Before I left to Canada I asked my grandma if I could have her for the weekend. We spent a wonderful weekend together with my daughter Deniz. She liked to drive in the car, I had a black beemer at this point and after I was gone to Canada she used to bark at every black beemer she saw. She was thinking I would jump out of the car ;-) This is what my grandma told me. My uncle rescued a little retriever last year, he told my grandma to put Chicky in his room so that she won't bark at him right away because Ben would be scared of it. When Ben came in the house my uncle decided to get Chicky out of his room. When he looked at her she was not breathing anymore. She passed away. She was suffering from a big knot in her chest (cancer) which could not be removed without making it worse. She was diagnosed 5 years ago but she had the best time of her life. Chicky I often think of you even though Ben is the most loving dog I ever met, but he will never replace you in any way. You are still in our hearts. Ben would have loved you the way we loved you. Everyone of you has its own loving personality. You were one of the most adorable poodles I have ever met in my life.
