We adopted Bella in 2009 from a shelter in WV. She was 10 months old when we adopted her. She was our first family dog. Our son was 5 years old at the time. 



Bella's former owner had diabetes and had both legs amputated and could not take care of her. Somehow she ended up cooped up for three weeks before someone took her to the shelter. 



When we went to pick her up she was the one large dog (about 50 pounds) running around alongside about 20 smaller dogs. The lady that connected us with the shelter said, that one is yours :) 



She was nervous when we first brought her home. She pooped in our master bedroom floor. 



We quickly bonded with Bella and she with us. 



I just wanted to share with others here an amazing, beautiful, loving, happy, and sweet dog. 



She gave us so much love and was more than we could have ever asked for and she was loved every day of her life. 



She passed away on 12/4/20. We miss her so much.
