Pearl was a sweet, loving Doberman who came into our lives through adoption. Her previous owners were elderly and couldn't care for her. We only had her for two years before she developed a fatal liver disease, but she brought unlimited joy into our lives. She was a "grinner" and would grin frm ear to ear when she was happy. She was happiest just being with her special people. She loved and adored our grandchildren and we trusted her to protect them. She loved to chase squirrels in the yard (thank goodness she never caught any!). We don't have any regrets about adopting her, even though our time with her was too short. We know we will see her again someday, running and playing again. Pearl, we will always love you!

It was at my house that you first met Pearl. I knew then that she had found her forever home.
Thank you for making her last years so happy and for being there for her when she needed you the most.

I have never known the sadness of losing a pet, but I can imagine how painful it must be. Pearl will be sorely missed. She probably chasing the squrrels in heaven - happy and playing and no longer in pain. My heart goes out to you.
