Braken first came in to my life when he was just 8 weeks old, i already had a dog called Holly from the same breeder who was a family friend.

Braken soon became a companion to my other dog Holly who is 2 years older.

they went everywhere together!

Braken had a comic personality, he used to wag his tail so fast he almost took off!!

whenever he saw a pond or lake, he would be straight in it, and he had a tendancy to keep his head under water for so long he often had me worried!



i moved from my parents house over 2 years ago and left my dogs there, and fortunatley i came back for the weekend, only to find out that Braken was in the vets and he was quite ill, we had a call from the vets at 12.00pm today to say that his condition was getting worse, so we went down to the vets and made a very hard decision to have him put to sleep.

it was one of the most heart-breaking things i have ever done,

i got to say good bye to him and he still found the energy to wag his tail one last time.

i will miss him dearly as will my parents and his best friend and mother to his now grown up children, Holly.
