We rescued Willie from a very, very small town in Playas, New Mexico on April 27, 2002. He was thought be about 3 – 4 years old at the time. We got him as a champion for our other Boston Terrier we had also rescued. They became instant buddies. They would walk side by side even trying to squeeze through the doors together. Their favorite pass time was lying in the sun together. We moved to Arizona later in the year in 2002. In 2004 for we adopted a third Boston Terrier. Willie loved to romp and play with his buddies. He loved grass which was something he didn’t get much of living in the southwest. He would lay out in the sun even on the hottest 100 degree day. He didn’t run but trotted or bounced when he was excited. He loved to dig! He would garden with me and collect the rocks that were dug up then take them to a pile. He loved to lay in front a fireplace or the portable heaters and I know he would be wishing winter would turn back into summer! His loss was so sudden but he didn’t suffer. He was given 3 years that he may not of had if we hadn't rescued him. He had all a Boston could ever ask for; great food & treats, a backyard, more toys & bones then he could ever play with, a heated bed for those winter nights and a lap to curl up in with he was just plain tuckered out. He is survived by his Boston brother and sister Duke and Allie. His parents Bobbi and Dan will miss him dearly. Willie we hope you are lying in the greenest grass soaking up heaven’s sun rays right now.
