Bruno was a beautiful German Shepard/ Lab mix, we got him free at a flea market when he was 5 weeks old. He was so smart, he would sit, speak, fetch, play football- yes, he could catch a football in his mouth, he was very protective of our kids, would follow them around in the yard, sit and watch my husband mow the grass, he was almost human to us; he was trained on an invisible fence and never left the yard. On Wednesday March 2, 2005 for some reason that we'll never know or understand Bruno ran onto our road and was hit and killed. It has been a horrible and tragic time for our family. Bruno will always be in our heart and memories; he was so special to us. Bruno was our Best Friend.
