Here's my princess. My baby girl.  She would have been 24 years old today.  I adopted Jessica and her sister Sasha when they were 6 weeks old in 1984.  Sasha died at 21 years.  Jessica was so beautiful and for a long period of her life was known as "that big fat kitty".  She weighed 23 lbs at her peak.  She also spent her first 10-12 years hiding from everyone, except her mama. She didn't like a lot of noise.  Then one day she realized she was missing out on all the love and decided that if she deemed you  worthy you might catch a glimpse of her and if you were really lucky you might even get to pet her - just for a second.  Also, in her younger days she masqueraded as a jewel thief (really mama's girl - lol).  Anything shiny was hers and she would hide it in a special place i.e., under the bed, behind the dresser.  About once a week I would have to go find all my jewelry.  She didn't get upset though, she would just wait until I was dumb enough to leave a ring or earrings laying around and then they were hers once more.  She really was a little ray of sunshine and I will miss her dearly.  My little Jessica Rabbit.  Love, Mama
