This tribute is for my beloved dog Yogi who was 19 when she died. My most memorable memories about Yogi are how she looked and acted. Yogi had a face that always looked liked she was smiling! And her tail. Yogi's tail always wagged no matter how bad the circumstance. Like the time the skunk sprayed her; or the times when she would tattle on her brothers Smoki and Booboo when they happened to get out of the yard. Sadly; Smoki died in November of 2000. So he was already saving a special spot in Heaven for Yogi. Even when Yogi was dieing; her tail still wagged. What a loving dog! I just want to thank my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for sending the white dove that stayed on the roof of my house for two days. That' when I knew it was time to put my Yogi down. Her brother Smoki died of cancer. Sadly, my Yogi got cancer in her mouth. She had a tumor so huge on her tongue, that the vet could not believe how long she had survived. But that was Yogi. A real fighter to the end. I promised Yogi and Smoki that I will not get anymore dogs. No one can ever take their place. I still have Booboo their brother who just turned 18. And I also have Gidget the midget and little cairn terrier, and the three cats: Panda, Patches, and Tommi. All these remaining animals came from abused homes. At least they know in this home; they will only get love, not abuse. But we all miss my Yogi and Smoki. I will always miss that smiling face Yogi. Putting you down was the hardest decision I ever had to make in my life. But I know you are running free now with your brother. I know it doesn't hurt anymore. I love you forever. You are now gone from my life, but never absent from my heart. Love you always, your human mom, BerNadett
