ben or"benny boos" as my beloved partner called him,was unique in every way.he came to us,a rescue dog,from a dog pound here in wales.so we were told by an assistant at the pound,he had been abused and was found wandering the streets.he also had a flea allergy,bless him and he had no fur from the back down to his tail,he was a picture.but we managed to nurse him back to health,and he developed what my partner called"the inner puppy",spurts of extreme playfullness.but sadly,he had dementia,and with him being 11 too we had to stop his suffering,he gently drifted away in my partners arms,in the care of the vet who put him to sleep.he did not suffer.i write this memorial,happy in the knowledge that he had a happy,comfortable retirement.ben'you will be forever in our hearts xxxxx
