A litter of 3 were born in the garden center @ Home Depot & then placed with a caring foster for a short time before I became the luckiest person to then love Homer, along with his amazing brothers Dee & Poe. Homer loved his cuddles, had the longest running purr machine inside of him. He loved belly rubs and lazily chillin on his back. He’d let us know when it was time to feed him, and not forget to add the ice cubes to his water bowl; which he ever so lovely tipped over constantly cause he was too lazy to walk one extra step closer so he would paw at the bowl to bring it closer to him all the while losing most of the water. LOL! And cannot let it slid that Homer also enjoyed drinking the little droplets from the bathtub & from our cups. He enjoyed his catnip and laser light shows; sitting in front of the fireplace to keep extra warm. Homer lost his hearing a couple years ago but that got him to talk more and sing for us often, especially at night with his special rendition, Howling of Scariness. He was the biggest of his brothers, but had a special diet to prevent complications to his digestive system since he was a year old; yet he fought through the hard times and outlived his siblings. My heart is broken, losing my last fur baby here in our house. The last of my companions that loved me unconditionally no matter the circumstances. We will miss Homer more than ever but he will always remain in our hearts.
