This tiny little dog (weighed 12 pounds in his prime) was my best friend ever. He would protect me from anything. His bark was much bigger than he ever was and he would not tolerate anyone who appeared to be "threatening" me. He slept curled up every night at the foot of the bed. If I said to him "Sleepy time?" he would burrow under the bedspread and curl up at my feet. "Walkies" got him out on the leash where he had to sniff every bush. He lived almost 18 years.
