Julia was a lovely little Collie Cross mongrel dog who gave me ten years of faithful companionship. The truest test of her love was that she could not bear to be apart from me. When she was operated on, she hould have spent a few days under observation, but the next day, I was asked to bring her home, as she was trying to escape

Thank you for every happy moment of your faithful companionship, I treasure the time we had together, and will always miss you. It was particularly sad to loose you at only ten years of age - I expect a dog of your breed to last longer.

I love you always, and know one day we shall be togerther again
