Sam, You were the best pet that anyone could have wanted, and we were all lucky that you were ours. We miss you so so much, and I know that we always will. you were an amazing dog, you were so nice natured, and funny, we could trust you with anyone, and almost anything.

Can you remember when you pinched the meat from the worktop on Christmas Eve, I heard a plate smash, ran in, and there you were with a joint of pork in your mouth, that was so funny. You were brilliant with the kids, I think you saw yourself as being a person, not a dog, and we saw you as being a person too.

When we think about you it still upsets us, and it always will, so I guess that we will always be getting upset, because we will never stop thinking about you, and how brilliant you were to know.

There are still photos of you everywhere around your house, but we would do anything to be able to have you back here with us.

When you went we hope that you went peacefully, and we hope that wherever you are now, that you are happy and healthy, running around and enjoying yourself.
