With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to our beloved Sam, who crossed the rainbow bridge on May 6th. He was more than just a pet, he was our best friend, a cherished member of our family, bringing warmth, laughter, and an endless supply of unforgettable memories. He was the goodest boy.
Affectionately known as Sammers or Sam the Man, he had a big personality wrapped in fur and gave the best puppy kisses. But he also meant business, he ruled the roost, and he knew it. No one came into the house without his approval.
Some of Sam’s greatest joys in life included taking long walks, snuggling with a well-worn stuffed toy, sneakily sharing slices of pizza, belly rubs, and watching over his little brother, Duke. There was mischief, there was stubbornness, and there was an unmatched ability to comfort us when we needed it most.
He didn’t just fill a space in our home; he filled our hearts. And now that he is gone, there’s a quiet, aching emptiness where his presence used to be.
Thank you, Sam, for the years of love, laughter, and lessons. You were our best friend, our protector, and our shadow. We’ll miss you forever.
Rest easy, sweet boy. You were so very loved.
Furever in our hearts.
