Sam was a black cat, long-haired (half-Persian) with emerald green eyes. He had the most beautiful nature we've ever known for a tom cat. Ever caring, ever playful, he lived life to the full and gave our family so much happiness and joy. He cared not a jot for his pedigree, as he was the scruffiest, raggy cat you could ever imagine, especially after coming into the house when it had been raining! He hardly ever spoke, prefering to make short distinctive "squeeks" which was his way of talking to us. He loved us all, and we loved him. It was such a shock to be told he had bone cancer, and even now, we cannot believe he has gone. He wanted to live, to breathe, to play. What a cruel deceipt life played on him! However whenever we think or speak of Sam, the room quickly fills with laughter and joy, which is the way he would have wanted it! God bless Sam. We all love you, and I miss you terribly. Hope to meet you again, and thank you for all you gave to us. Clive Meredith Inverness Scotland
