You picked us. With your floppy puppy ears and bright pink tongue, you never left our side saying, "I'm yours!" We were so excited to bring you home and give you your first bath...little did we know how much you LOVED swimming. You didn't like the water at first, you splashed daddy and cried. But once you got to go in a lake, you would never come out. You would look at us like, "just one more jump, one more lap" You also loved your swimming pool splashing mama with your football. We were always amazed how big you got, some days we'd look at you and feel like you were just a baby still. Until you jumped on our bed and took up 3/4 of it! You had your fun ripping up DVDs, CDs and toys. You loved Foxy, Piggy, Eddie and of course....football. You really loved football, Kiwi. We carry your toys around sometimes, and we'll never get rid of them. Everybody always loved you, and you were always the center of attention. You made everyone so happy and so loved, but we loved you the most. You are our baby, our first and only. We love our memories of you "surfin" it out in the truck, chasing lights, giving hugs and kisses at the door, cuddling watching movies, waiting for daddy, following us everywhere we went, being a green toed monster outside helping daddy mow, getting hubbies, getting stuck under the bed. We miss hearing your tail in the morning when we'd sing, "kiwwwwii" You were so smart, learning so many tricks like "scoot scoot" and "kisses" Our favorite trick was "speak" and "who is a pretty boy?" You always knew how to get the most treats out of someone. You were always such a baby at the vets office, and knew how to get treats from Dr. Brown. You were still scared of the vacuum cleaner till you were 3. You loved to lay on Mama's silk pillows, knowing you were too cute to get mad at. 

 

We'll never forget the endless kisses and hugs. We'll never forget the smell of your head, and how soft your ears were. Mama always loved putting her arms and legs around you as you leaned your head back on her shoulder. You will always be the perfect fit. You had so much fun with Daddy, building forts and wrestling on the ground. You were the perfect "little spoon" in the morning with daddy, sleeping in until he got up. You'll always be daddy's best friend. 



We know God brought you to us with a purpose and He took you back because you taught us our lesson. We just miss you and wish we could have had more time with you. We know we will one day meet you in heaven. We also know you'll help pick out your "baby brother" to make sure we get the right one. We know you'll continue to protect Mama, Daddy at work, and your future brothers and sisters. We'll remember you every time something catches the light and puts a glimmer on the wall. We know you'll always be with us and you'll always know how much love we have for you. 



We know you're having fun with all your new friends, but we know you're missing us too and patiently waiting to meet us again one day. We know where you are you are able to run and swim freely without discomfort or tire. We know you're happy and carefree, but wishing you had more time with us too. 



We'll always leave room for you in our "family hugs" because you'll ALWAYS be apart of our family. You're the love of our lives and we thank God for every day, hour, moment of time with you. We would pick you over and over again. 



We love you, Kiwi, and always will. We will never, ever, ever forget you. And you can never be replaced. You've left a permanent mark in our hearts and mind. X's and O's from your Mama and Daddy.
