Jake was a great dog. Always full of energy and a strong runner. Although Jake spent most of his time with Mom and Dad, I remember what a character he was when he was younger. It's sad he went so fast, but Mom and Dad kept with him until he went on to the next life.

Personal Notes

My name was “Jake”
I was a German Shorthair Pointer who was approximately 12 Years old when I died. I was purchased from the Anna Serak Kennels in Fransksville WI. My owners were Don and Marie Trudeau who loved me with all theirs hearts and I loved them with all that a dog could give. They wrote this so that some day someone will find this document and know who I was. Not just a dog but a true friend to their family, and whose companionship with them was sorely missed by them and all that knew him.
People that have never had a true friend, one that they can tell their deepest secrets to and know they will never tell anyone, have never had a dog. In this life you will never find a more perfect partner.

I Lost my best friend today, and the grief in my
heart is so heavy...I loved Jake more than I can
put into words or tears on his grave....Jake gave me far more in my life, than I could ever give back.. he went away too soon....

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and
true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy
of such devotion
One last word of farewell, dear master and mistress. Whenever you visit my grave, say to yourselves with regret but also happiness in your hearts at the remembrance of my long happy life with you: "Here lies Jake, the one who loves us and whom we loved." No matter how deep my sleep I shall hear you, and not all the power of death can keep my spirit from wagging a grateful tail.

God turns clouds inside out to make fluffy beds for the dogs in Dog Heaven, and when they are tired from running and barking and eating ham-sandwich biscuits, the dogs find a cloud bed for sleeping. God watches over each one of them. And there are no bad dreams.
