Now who will I look up to when poppy teaches me new tricks (go here to see: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=t_olqPDZiZ4), when I go to the beach and learn to fetch and when my nanny tells me to sit on the mat. Uncle Jake was a role model to me and many other dogs and puppies. He was the smartest dog ever... Uncle Wok loved him soooo much and always gave him food first. My mummy is very sad because he was like her doggy brother. I hope I can be half as good as Jakey Pakey some day.

Jakey Pakey was a fun and loving dog. The best thing I remembered was when I was walking Jake and Warwick said round the back Jake and Jake sped round the back and I had to run with him. It was fun! Jake was owned by three loving people that never hurt him or treated him like a dog they just took good care of him, he was like a part of their family. I know you are sad but he lived with a fun family and was a happy Jakey Pakey. We will miss you Jakey Pakey.

Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight. All is well, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. Hugs from Ireland.

We love you heaps and will miss you Jakey Pakey, you were a smart dog that was loved by all and part of the family! We have so many happy memories of you playing at the beach, lake, in the yard, doing tricks, tilting your head when you're listening to us talk... the list goes on. I never thought when I said goodbye to you in that photo it would be the last time, we were looking forward to coming back in Jan to take you to the beach... you will never be forgotten Jakey Pakey. x
