Becky Sue,(Rebecca Suzanna was her full name), was adopted by us through the Old English Sheepdog Rescue Club when she was just 3 years old. Her family was moving and could not take her with them. When we got her, she was very shy and hid behind a chair for 3 weeks. After alot of love and attention, she finally became the best dog we could have ever asked for. She became part of our family.

She love all kinds of people food especially bananas. She had to have one just about every day. She loved to go for rides in the car and she loved to go camping with us. She loved to be around us. She always stayed close by our side. She was truly an amazing dog.

The Old English Sheepdog Rescue Club we got her from has a picnic for all the rescued dogs & their families every year. She loved to go to those picnics and she was so good around the 30 other sheepdogs. At her last picnic in the summer of 2002, she won an award for being the oldest rescued sheepdog there. We were so proud of her.

Suddenly, in January, 2003, she took ill. Part of her intestines were being pushed in by a tumor. She had just turned 14 years old. The doctors said there was nothing they could do for her. So with agony in our hearts, we had to put her to sleep. She was in alot of pain. The doctor came to our house, (I would have had it no other way), and she went to sleep peacefully in my arms. I will never forget the look on her face and in her eyes.

Becky Sue, we miss you terrible and you will never be forgotten. You will always be with us in our hearts. Thanks for your unconditional love which you always gave to us and for all the beautiful memories that will live on in our hearts and minds forever and ever. You were truly our very best friend and companion.
