My son was the greatest dog! He knew how to love and to be loved. He was found at the SPCA. He was tattoed there previously when we picked him up at 9 months or so old. He was shaking and quivering with fear. My wife melted when she saw him. We've shared so many wonderful days together. He loved playing with us, going for walks, playing with kids and with neighbor dogs. In the end, Jackson had a tumor growing on his side that was pressing on his lungs making it difficult to breathe. We put him down on August 19th, 2006 and buried him out back of my parent's place next to Misty, a very old and well-loved beagel whom jackson frolicked with in his younger days. Jackson was my strength, my support. He was always there for me to lean on and to love. I'll never forget the love he shared with me. For those who don't believe that dogs have emotions and can love, i feel sorry for you. Jackson...I love you. God's peace be with you!
