Jasper, although we did not have you for that long, it seemed like you have been a part of the family forever. You were the sweetest, smartest, most loving dog we've ever known. Everyone who knew you, saw that. Those who were strangers to you, you were very protective of us and made us feel safe. Although the mailman, neighbors, other dogs down the street, the cable guy and the FPL guy were scared of you, you were just doing what you did best...keeping us all safe. You loved doggie treats, and when you wanted another treat, you did not whine, or cry, or jump, you just looked at us with these big brown eyes that said "I deserve another two or three treats, don't you think?" And you got them, all the time. We couldn't say no. You were patient with Oscar, who followed you around everywhere, and you were gentle with him, when he jumped on your head. Even if you did not want to play, you let him use you as a trampoline. We know he annoyed you, but you were never mean to him. He will miss you, and we will miss you too. Our home is not the same without you, but the memories we have of you will live on forever.....we hope you can see us from where you are...we hope you are better and stronger now and not in pain anymore. Thank you for being such a good dog and our best friend...
