My Sammy was so gorgeous that he was often mistaken for a female, even by me at first, until the Vet put me right, I had originally named him Samantha.....
I have moved home several times and Sammy always adapted well, outliving any other cat we had, by staying close to home.
My favourite memory is sharing my bed with him at night, where we would both lay our heads on my pillow and the duvet would cover us up to our necks, he would stay like that for hours, especially as he got older and more poorly.
Sammy joined our family when I was 17 yrs old and it was my pleasure to see him past his own 17th birthday.

Personal Notes

I remember when we moved from Plymouth to Keston Road in Tottenham, my mum put butter on Sam's feet so he would'nt get lost.
The front door was open and Sammy legged it, I tried to catch him, but instead ended up face down on the pavement in my new neighbourhood. The small scar on my chest will mean more to me now than ever B4.

I remember when I was living at my sister's house when I was studying, and Sammy would often come and sit on my lap and stare up at me with a look of pure love. This is the moment I treasure the most, and I can picture the exact moment. Sammy has been part of our family for so long and every time we moved house, and that was quite a few times, he settled in straight away. All he needed was the sun, some food, and a bit of love. Love you always Sammy xxx

Sammy also had a sister nearby for a few years, also called sammy, but unfortunately she passed away much earlier in life. I remember when my sammy died, I found comfort and calmness in you and I felt close to you and you helped me feel better. Every time I saw Sammy, I remembered my sammy, there was a calm and contentness in you both. May you both find eachother now and rest in peace.
