She was always by my wifes' side after she became disabled. She seemed to know when Gena needed a little extra companionship, like after one of genas medical procedures. She was right there to defend her if need be. She was just like a child to us. The wife use to ask me what our kid was up to or did she eat her food. She use to go crazy when the grand kids came over, she couldn't wait to greet them. In her later years she became scared of thunderstorms and would sooner or later end up in bed with us, which didn't leave much room. She will be in our hearts and memories always.

Personal Notes

Gary and Gena, thank you for the note on my Phoebes site and I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Lady. Phoebes original name was Lady. I can so relate to what you both are going through at the moment, when Phoebe went, I cried for weeks. Phoebe too, as she got older, used to sleep between my wife and I, I never knew who was snoring loudest my wife or Phoebe. I will light a penny candle for Lady in Dublin today to guide her way to my Phoebe waiting up at the rainbow bridge. I will leave a little saying after this message as well, which was a comfort to us. Kind regards, Teddy O'Neill

Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight. All is well, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before.

Hi I am sorry for the loss of your lovely dog Lady.I lost my dog Sam a year ago this month and I can relate to your loss.Sam was a big black labrador with a big personality and he was my best friend for 13 years always loving and loyal.I had to make the hardest decision ever to put him to sleep as he had cancer and I could not let him suffer. It broke my heart.I hope Lady and Sam are playing together till we see them again. For now they will live on in our hearts.

Lady was such a lovable dog. whenever we would come over she would greet us with her cute, puppy dog face. I loved when she was a puppy and one ear would be up, and one would be down! Lady was a really good dog. she rarely, if ever, did anything bad. Now, when we go to our grandparents' house, it seems kind of lonely with out her, especially when we eat dinner and there is something I don't want or can't finish. It is so sad that she had to go, but I know she is in a better place with no pain. I will always love and miss Lady!
