Zander really was a great dog. He was so very easy going. We saved him from the kill shelter just in the nick of time. Even then, the Vet said he didn't expect him to live out the week because of the shape he was in from years of neglect and abuse. He surprised everyone and gave us over 3 years wonderful years to enjoy him. He will be missed terribly but his suffering is over. We love you Zander and we will see you again someday.

Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight. All is well, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. Condolences from Ireland.
