Jake was a happy, loving and loyal friend for 12 and a half years when I first met him at the animal shelter. He loved meeting people and would wag his tail madly and greet everyone with delight. He was my constant companion, following me everywhere I went, sleeping as close to my bed as he could get and giving me unlimited affection. To know him was to love him.
