He was such a tiny thing when I brought him home. A little black ball of fur. He grew up to be such a wonderful dog. He slept by my side of the bed every night. It was tough last night going to sleep and he was not there. I woke up this morning looking for him to see how he was doing. He had been sick since last Wednesday, so every morning he was the first thing I checked on. Then I came home from work last night and he was really bloated. I took him to an emergency clinic and the X-Rays showed that he was bleeding internally. I love him so much and wish I did not have to lose him, but he was uncomfortable and there really was nothing that they could do for him. I could not make him stay for my husband and I. He is much better at "The Bridge" with his brothers who I know are showing him the ropes. He is healthy and young again, but I am sure he is just as sad as we are. I love you, Midnight.

He seemed so happy, but at the same time I think he knew.

Personal Notes

We miss him so very much, as we do both of his brothers. I know he feels better where he is but how I wish he was here. It helps to know that he is with his brothers and they are showing him all around "Rainbow Bridge" and that we will all meet again.

Midnight, momma and papa love you very much. We are so sorry that we could not help you. Give Max and Petie kisses for us. We love you all!!
