I adopted Scrimpster when she was 3-1/2 months from a non-euthanizing facility. She was a unique kitty. She had extra toes on every paw, was gray-colored to the point she sometimes looked slate-blue. For so many months I never thought she would grow in to her "big ears." She was the sweetest cat I ever owned and she loved me unconditionally. She was also a character. For 10 months she was an "only child" but I got a second kitty just after Scrimpy was a year old. She loved her new companion and graciously accepted the new kitten's presence. It always cracked me up: new kitten was long-haired and Scrimpy was short-haired and had the furball issue as she groomed the new kitten every day of her life until about a month ago. New kitten apparently didn't live up to Scrimpy's standards! I will miss her tremendously.
Personal Notes

I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet little friend Scrimpster. There is an online pet loss support group where we talk about losing our pets and offer each other caring support, sympathy and understanding. We would love for you to join us and tell us more about her. Delphi requires you to register to join but it is free. It can be found at http://forums.delphiforums.com/poaa/start
