I find there are no words which can adequately describe the gentle impact Athena had on so many lives. During her nine years with us, she offered so much; yet took so very little for herself. On more than one occassion Athena saved my life---whether literally or figuratively. She gave me unconditional love even if it was undeserved, and left to me a profound sense of eternal life. A life where I know she will be waiting quietly for me, when my time, too, at last draws near.....
